Regional Sales (Hunter) - Hiring for Several Regions

As a Regional Sales Hunter, you’ll be a consultative sales professional responsible for revenue growth and market share penetration by closing new deals with large and enterprise customer accounts. This role will add value by educating customers on all the innovative ways that Cargomatic delivers supply chain and logistics solutions. The ideal candidate will be actively bringing on new logos, goal-oriented, and innovative in developing successful sales strategies. This is an individual contributor opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Outside Sales - build your own book of business through cold calling, face-to-face meetings, networking, and closing new deals
  • Conduct sales pitches and presentations with nationwide large and enterprise customer accounts
  • Develop and execute a business plan that will generate hyper revenue growth and exceed the sales quotas set by the company
  • Have continuous engagement with your customers to maintain close relationships and ensure ongoing success with accounts
  • Partner with Cargomatic’s Customer Support and Operations teams to enhance the customer experience and keep customer satisfaction and retention rates high
  • Travel required - at least 50% travel, overnight included 

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of outside sales experience required, specifically selling drayage, intermodal, LTL, local market, short-haul, same day/next day, and P&D solutions
  • Experience selling to freight forwarders, NVOCC's, BCO's, 3PL's, and warehouse providers
  • Highly competitive and motivated Hunter mentality
  • Ability to transition your own book of business and/or contacts
  • Experience with complex enterprise sales, identifying pain points, and delivering solutions
  • Experience driving revenue with large, national customers/shippers
  • Proven industry track record of winning new business and building strategic partnerships
  • Ability to articulate client strategies by using industry knowledge to expand business opportunities
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills 
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to overcome objections 
  • Accountability and ability to prioritize daily tasks

The target salary range for this role is $100,000-160,000 with an on target earning of $250,000-260,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
