Cargomatic is looking for a Senior Manager of CRM Strategy & Operations to drive the strategic direction and management of our CRM systems. This leader will be responsible for aligning CRM initiatives with our business development and marketing goals, ensuring efficient operations across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), and Upper Sigma. This role requires a deep understanding of CRM best practices, data governance, and industry-specific regulations, ideally within the transportation and logistics sector.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • CRM Strategy Development & Implementation: Define and execute a comprehensive CRM strategy that aligns with Cargomatic’s growth objectives in business development and marketing.
  • System Optimization: Oversee CRM configuration and enhancements to maximize efficiency and support operational goals.
  • Data & Trend Analysis: Keep up-to-date on CRM best practices, industry trends, and marketing automation advancements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership to establish and track CRM success metrics, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the development and deployment of marketing automation campaigns to drive engagement and business results.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the CRM team, developing skills in system use and strategic application.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the main liaison between the CRM team and other departments to streamline processes and initiatives.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate strong partnerships with vendors and consultants to maximize value from CRM investments.
  • Data Governance & Privacy: Oversee data security and privacy measures, maintaining compliance and protecting sensitive client information.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years in CRM and marketing automation, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
    • Strong background in Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization; Salesforce Administrator or Developer certification is a plus.
    • Proven success in aligning CRM initiatives with business goals, ideally in the transportation and logistics industry.
    • Experience with Upper Sigma (Litera) is a significant advantage.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in CRM best practices, data governance, and privacy regulations.
    • Strong project management capabilities and ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
    • Ability to build effective relationships across teams and lead with a collaborative approach.
The expected salary range for this role is $145,000 to $209,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
